The soundtrack was put together by the game's executive producer, Jay-Z. Michael Jordan is the game's cover athlete. It was developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports, a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive. You can hear all those songs on October 5th, when NBA 2K11 launches for PS3, 360, Wii, PC, PSP, PS2, and iPhone. NBA 2K11 was released in October 2010 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii.

That’s right - the Los Angeles Lakers small forward, who released a 21-track rap album in 2006, has contributed a cut to NBA 2K11. Inluded are notable artists such as Snoop Dogg (contributing and original, exclusive track), Outkast’s Big Boi, Drake, Kid Cudi, Two Door Cinema Club, The Constellations and The Alan Parsons Project performing the Chicago Bulls’ intro song. But Snoop is only one of more than 30 artists who appear on the 27-song soundtrack for the game. 2K Sports released the soundtrack for NBA 2K11 yesterday and they say it is a perfect compliment to Michael Jordan, this years' coverboy.
