In some instances, faculty and students may need to download and install a local/personal copy of the software for their own desktop computers and/or laptops. The majority of software applications are paid directly with NCSU Student ETF Fundsfor use with Classroom Technology and/or Student Computing Labs and Facilities. As such, some of the software installed may only be installed in the computers located in the Brooks IT Lab and not within the individual computing clusters.
